The best and most rewarding thing I can receive in my Real Estate career is a testimonial video from a client I serviced. Here is what my clients thought about while we worked to sell or buy a home.
REALTOR.COM REVIEW
My mom’s husband passed away and we had to move my mom to Ohio and it was happening quicker than expected due to some health issues and Jim met with my Mom and he won her over very quickly. His promise to help get things cleanup and remove unwanted things help ease her mind with leaving. Once we had her out and actually put the house on the market he did an awesome job at stopping by the house weekly to make sure there were no problems with a non-lived in home. He also brought in a crew to paint one of the walls and stage the home so it looked especially nice when showing. Jim called every week with updates on the shows and progress with the sale. We unfortunately had some very special hurdles that we had no idea were even there which made our sale very unique and narrowed our buyer pool, immensely. Jim hung in there with us and we finally got the deal done. Being that my mom lives in Ohio now and the sale was in Nevada we need to work with a mobile notary which was a very easy and no hassle way to sign for closing and all the other documents with Las Vegas Sotheby’s International Realty was very easy as well through DocuSign. I can say Jim is a true salesman with the best of intentions and stays true to his word. We appreciate all his hard work for a very small commission. Thank you for taking our small challenging sale on and helping us from a distance have less stress and a final sale.

Jim was our saving grace. His consistency with connecting with my prior to listing over the year assisted us in reaching out to begin with. His hand written letters offering services humanized him causing me to outreach when it was time to sell. From our first interaction Jim was kind, knowledgeable and developed a rapport that was far from transactional. We lived 3000 miles away from our property and immediately I trusted Jim with selling our property. Not only did he sell our home and assist us in getting a sale price I never dreamed of, he did every little fix, coordination and finish to the home to make it ready for the market. We had a lot of unexpected work to do to the home and not once did Jim ever seem he was not up for the challenge. In my frustration he the calm guidance I needed. I trusted his judgement and expertise and yet, he still put me in the directors seat for decision making and empowered me that my choices were valid and supported. By the time the house was ready for market, it was so beautiful I almost didn’t want to sell. He made sure to respect our budget for needed renovations and worked his hardest to ensure we were comfortable every step of the way. Most importantly, this was just not a sale. This home was being sold to ensure our family could continue to care for my parent financially. Jim did everything to get the best for the home and preserve the memories we had in it. It meant the world to myself and family that we could trust such a phenomenal realtor. I would without a doubt recommend Jim to anyone. The process was seamless, stress less and quick- which says a lot when you’re selling a home over 3000 miles away that had been untouched for a decade. I am forever grateful for the impact he has made on me and my family. When it seems too good to be true, it’s Jim’s hard work that’s behind the magic.

Jim Wicklund can be easily characterized in just a few words: He is an outstanding realtor. I prefer, however, to use a few more:
· He is a genuine, caring, patient listener.
· He works for his clients, giving options and explaining all processes in detail.
· He is very observant of everything.
· He puts the seller squarely in the driver’s seat.
I first met Jim when I was having trouble with a no-action/ non-communicative Realtor I had signed with. I was very unhappy with the situation. A friend told Jim about my predicament, and he offered to help. He was very ethical, never mentioning anything negative about my Realtor. He gave sound suggestions, including that I call the state realty board to find out my rights. He never suggested that he could sell our home if I could invalidate my contract with my current Realtor. Jim simply offered to be a sounding board if I needed it. I could feel his genuine concern of simply wanting to help.
After voiding that contract, the next Realtor I dealt with did all the talking and none of the listening. He wanted to price the home low for a quick sale and ended up attempting to give me a six-month contract after agreeing to a three-month contract. At that point, I decided to call Jim again, but this time I asked him to become my new Realtor.
He agreed to list the home for top dollar, which was unprecedented for the neighborhood. We knew the list price was high, but it was a one-of-a-kind special house and yard. Jim agreed to start high, as he immediately recognized the home’s unique beauty and value. The house sold for the highest amount the neighborhood had seen. Jim never lost hope or suggested we should low-ball the house just to sell it. Both seller and buyer (he worked as the buyer’s agent as well–very gingerly and ethically) went through a very pleasant experience with no pressure or stress. Both of us were very happy and satisfied.
I’m extremely pleased with how Jim handled every aspect of this sale, from his appreciation of the property and its value to his interaction with both myself and the buyers. As far as I’m concerned, he is an outstanding Realtor in every sense, and I highly recommend him to anyone interested in dealing with a true professional.
In gratitude, I write this letter of recommendation,
